Be My Princess for GREE ~Valentine’s Event 2014 Info~

Posted in Otome Games by

Well then! This is probably the soonest post I’ve published since an event began. Anyways! I thought I’d try using an outline so it’d be easier to navigate the post using the Find function. Sometimes I have trouble finding info on here, and I’m the one who made it! I don’t think I can format it using HTML, so I’ll just have it typed. Any additions will also be added on the outline, changing section orders if they need to be.

Also! If there’s anything that you think I should start adding to these info posts, do let me know so I can get to it!

Please keep in mind that I have yet to complete everything in the event, so edits and corrections will be made once I come across it during gameplay or when someone is kind enough to inform me.

Update 2/6: Early Completion rewards and Ranking rewards have been released! Early Completion Rewards has been added and Ranking has been updated.

Update 2/3: The Royal Valentine Set, Princess Heart BOX, and Princess’s Kiss Set are no longer available. Princess Sets has been updated.

6. Guide (Spoiler-free)

1. Basics

  • The event period from 1/31 to 2/14 8:00 A.M. (UTC).
  • All six princes are available.
  • Each route consists of four (4) Stages
    • Each stage consists of five (5) episodes.
  • There are two (2) endings: Happy End and Normal End.
    • When you choose the Happy End, you will spend time with the Prince. When you choose Normal End, you will spend time with the Butler.
  • You DO NOT need Love Passes to advance the story.
    • Instead, you will have to complete missions in order to advance in the story.
  • Missions consist of both Love Factor missions and Avatar item missions.
    • You can only raise Love Factors by going to the Chocolate Party.
    • When you add an Event Mate, 20% of their Love Factor will be added to your Love Factors, so it’s a good idea to fill up your Event Mate list as much as possible. Don’t forget, though, it’s best to add those that will help you win parties.
    • If an Event Mate invites you to a Chocolate Party, your Total Love Factor also increases.
    • You can not stop being mates once you approve an event mate.
  • The Xmas Party uses only 20 Strength.
    • Lucky 24hrs use 30 Strength.
  • The ending you are able to choose depends on your Love Factors. High Love Factors will allow you to go on the Happy End.
    • Please note that the 2nd or subsequent Prince’s Love Factors to get to the Happy End may differ by players.
    • If you do not reach the Happy End, you can still raise your Love Factors to get it before you choose an ending.
    • No matter which end you choose, you will have to replay the entire route to choose the other end.
  • Once the event ends, you will not be able to read the story anymore.

2. Completion Items

When you complete each ending, you will receive a completion item for the event.

Based on previous events: If you get Happy Endings with three (3) Princes, you will get a special prize. Each additional Happy Ending you get with another Prince (without repeating endings) will get you another reward.

If you complete all Happy Ends with all six (6) Princes, you will receive a Lovely kitchen with an oven!! background (Charm +400) for your avatar that will help you to win at parties.

2.1 Early Completion Rewards

If you complete three (3) Princes’ Happy Endings by February 10th 8:00 A.M. (UTC), you will receive the Sweet Valentine Box. The box contains:

  • Love Pass x10
  • Closet Space x10
  • A Cute Bag (Charm +50)

The Sweet Valentine Box will be sent out within one (1) week from the deadline.

Note: You do not have to complete both the Normal and Happy Ends of a prince to get a reward.

3. Valentine Gacha

Gacha points used to spin the Valentine Gacha per play are 500pt. Only the first Play is free.

This is like the Furniture Hunting Event. Instead of having to complete a collection to receive the decoration items, you will have a chance of receiving the items with every play.

If you place the Special Furniture item in your room, the Prince will come and visit your room.

Note: The Prince will only visit if you place Special Furniture in your room. He will not visit with Normal Furniture. The Butler will also visit your room, but I am not yet sure if it is by placing Special Furniture or by placing the Normal Furniture.

3.1 Pieces of Jewel Exchange Shop

This campaign will end on February 14th at 8:00 A.M. (UTC). You’ll be able to exchange jewel pieces you win in the Valentine Gacha and past jewel pieces you’ve won but haven’t used. You’ll be able to trade in the jewel pieces you’ve collected for new, cute avatar items.

Even after the exchange campaign ends, your pieces of jewel will not disappear. You’ll be able to use your leftover pieces in the next Pieces of Jewel Exchange Shop campaign. Exchange them for items now or later, it’s up to you!

Exchange items include:

  • Shore of Ice background (500 pieces)
  • Winter Princess Dress (200 pieces)
  • Princess Hair on Ice (100 pieces)
  • Crystal Headband (50 pieces)

5. Ranking new

The ranking goes by the amount of Current Love Factors that you have, not the Total Love Factors. If you rank in the top 100 when the event ends, you will receive a special prize. The item will be different depending on your rank.

Reward for the 1st to 10th place:

  • Cupid Dress (Charm +250)
  • Cupid braided hair (Charm +250)
  • Lovely heart eyes (Charm + 250)

Reward for the 11th to 100th place:

  • Lovely Heart Eyes (Charm +250)

These are limited items that you can only get by ranking in the top 100 of the Valentine’s Event.

You will receive your prize when the event ends.

5. Guide (Spoiler-free) new

Sooo since I’m always trying to figure out what I can do to make these posts better, I thought I would try including guides for the event. These are the guides I typically use (and it would make it easier for me to look back on /shot). However, I can’t guarantee whether or not the guide is accurate for this event until I have completed it myself, but they’ve been correct for the most part. I’ll also consider posting them for future events if I can.

And so, here are the choices, spoiler-free, so that you can get those choice bonuses at the end of the episodes.

Stage 1 Stage 2 Stage 3 Normal End Happy End
Prince Wilfred A B B A A
Prince Keith B A A B B
Prince Roberto A B A A B
Prince Glenn A A A A A
Prince Joshua A A A A A
Prince Edward A B A A B

That’s all I have for now. I think I managed to squeeze everything in here. OTL If I have missed something, information is out of date, or information needs to be updated, please feel free to let me know and I will do the necessary changes as soon as possible. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask in the comments and I will try to answer them the best I can.

Happy playing!
