Voltage Inc. To Release PARTY Series Beginning With My Forged Wedding: PARTY

6/23/14 Update: My Forged Wedding PARTY is now available for both Android and iOS! Happy playing!

One day, you’re just hanging out at your uncle’s bar…and the next, you’re in a fake marriage with an attractive guy you just met?!

It doesn’t just happen in the movies, you know!

Choose your favorite from a unique cast of characters, then create your own avatar, collect fashions, and decorate your new home with adorable interiors as your love story with your new husband unfolds…

Can true love start as a lie?

Find out in My Forged Wedding: PARTY, a new social app experience from Voltage, Inc.

So it looks like we weren’t too far off the mark when it came to a My Forged Wedding social game, but that doesn’t mean I’m very happy about it. I wasn’t sure whether I wanted to post this or not, but screw it.

mfwpJust like GREE, you’ll be able to dress your own avatar and decorate your room, and read a limited amount of the story each day and have to complete avatar and point missions when they come up, as well as have friends who you can use to help you win in battles and gain points to continue the story. Just like all of Voltage’s social games, the story is different than the original app versions. It is basically the same as Be My Princess for GREE, but just not on the GREE platform. So far, it looks like only Kougami Yamato, Shibasaki Ren, and Maruyama Takao will be available at the time of release.

Voltage Inc. has created a brand new Facebook page, Voltage Romance Sims PARTY, specifically for the PARTY series. I have no doubt that, if all goes well, we’ll possibly be seeing Love Letter From Thief X, Seduced in the Sleepless City, Pirates in Love, and maybe even Gossip Girl added to the PARTY series. That’s only a mere possibility, though, considering the state of Pirates in Love in the English market and, as I’ve been informed, the Love Letter From Thief X social game not being updated since last year. Heck, we might even see the Love&Job and Room Share games, but now that might just be expecting too much, if the previous list wasn’t already. We might still get the Main Stories at least, but don’t take my word for it. We’ll just have to wait and see.

Like I mentioned in my previous post, I can’t say I’m excited for it. I have to wonder, though, if My Forged Wedding: PARTY is the reason that we’ve been very lacking in Be My Princess for GREE events other than the current Main Story Campaign and Royal Gachas. While I’m not complaining about said lack of events, it does disappoint me that it means we won’t [ever] be able to read those event stories. However, if Be My Princess for GREE continues as it is now with no events, I can see myself being able to play My Forged Wedding: PARTY and taking over those events instead. That’s only if Be My Princess for GREE is low on events, or even stops altogether. With the amount of time I put into Be My Princess for GREE alone, there’s no way I’d be able to handle events from two different games at the same time.

As little as I’m excited about My Forged Wedding: PARTY, I’m rather curious as to how it’ll go along. No doubt I’ll pick it up one day, maybe even the day it’s released. But whether or not I’ll devote myself to it will depend on how Be My Princess for GREE will be in the future. And so far, with no events in sight, it looks like I’ll be able to continue to enjoy Be My Princess for GREE and start with My Forged Wedding: PARTY when it is released.

The release date for My Forged Wedding: PARTY has yet to be announced. This post will be updated once new information has been released.
